Water treatment with helcotec

Water is a natural raw material. With its excellent heat conductivity water can ideally be used as a cooling agent in the industry. Wherever tools, machines, robots, mainframe computers or even simply air must be cooled, water fulfils this task.

Due to its corrosive qualities, high hardness level or high ion and especially chloride content, not all water qualities can immediately be optimally used as cooling water. Without an appropriate treatment, the use of this water can lead to limescale and biomass deposits and especially to corrosion in plants and moulds.

This causes clogged tubes and filters and destroyed plant components by corrosion. Detached biomass, lime and rust particles cause a reduction in the cooling capacity or even lead to a complete breakdown of the cooling.
