Paint coagulation with helcotec

In the wood-, metal- and plastics-processing industry, modern coagulation products are an essential part of many industrial coating processes. During the application process a big amount of the paint particles (overspray) end up in the spray booth. The overspray is washed out from the air into the circulating water of the spray booth. When solvent based paints are applicated the coagulant transforms the paint particles into a non-sticky state by adsorption and thus prevents malfunctions in the painting plant. To enable the adsorption of new lacquer the non-sticky coagulated particles are separated from the water and removed continuously. The separation of water based coatings is more complex but can easily be done by using tailor-made coagulation products from helcotec.  Depending on the separation technique helcotec can provide coagulation products for flotation or sedimentation equipment.
